Well the past two weeks have seen an uptake in Adoptions and enquiries as well as intakes.

Lovely Dusty, a shelter favourite, went to his forever home and long termer Stormy went to her new home after a year in care. Little fluffball Fonzie went to his new home in Port Macquarie as a friend for their existing 1 yo cat. And one of our lovely calico trio family, Mystic also went to her forever home.

Pending adoptions on two kittens of the lovely Sia the snowshoe type, leaving a tuxedo boy and a black tabby boy for preadoption applications. Also two other sibling kittens Tigger and Hugo went to their new home too. We also have a single female kitten from that same litter, Lucy 10 weeks old a grey tabby, ready to go now (vetwork done).

Sukis kittens are doing really well with one boy “Ren” going to his new home and his sister Raya being adopted by her foster carer. Still two from that litter remaining for adoption- shy Akira and Nori both tabby and whites.

New arrivals - Over the past few weeks we have welcomed several new cats and kittens.

Sia the snowshoe type. A very sweet young mum of under a year old with her 4 babies from a QLD pound, also from the same pound Willow a delightful young grey and white girl. very sweet and loving.

From Tamworth pound Fonzie and Hermoine and just in today booked a few weeks ago but were awaiting transport are Older boy Angus a stunning smoke tabby who is still recovering from the shock of losing his home and his companion. Also in today Tumnus a young champagne ginger and white boy. Both are desexed and chipped so can be adopted now.

Yesterday we took in local ex poundie stray black cat, shy “Loki” and Sunday a lovely 10 week old kitten “Herman” that was dumped locally and left to fend for himself. Lovely friendly little fella too.

We also have three cats in boarding at the moment - two from homeless situations and another awaiting house build being completed.

Needless to say we are quite full and are putting a hold on incomings for a while due to having no quarantine spaces available at all now.
